The Configure Asset Management page contains options to configure settings to make your management of metadata templates and defined media types more efficient.
Metadata Templates
Lets you create, edit, copy, or remove metadata templates. The metadata templates simplify the input of metadata when assets are created. (For more information, see Fields: Metadata Templates.)
Media Types
Lets you create, edit, or remove media types. When a media type is assigned to an asset, a media type icon will display with the asset in a search results list. If the patron views the asset in detail, the digital asset is displayed, downloaded, or played, as determined by the media type definition. (For information, see Fields: Media Types.)
